What if...
What if you could add a feature to any app on your mobile device, what would you add? In the Information Architecture class, we had to think of this question and apply it to an app that we use that involves listening. The Listen Up project's purpose was to think of the user and their experience (UX in designer terms), revolving around an app and a feature they need. The app chosen was the Apple Podcasts app and the need for a search and filter button through the Podcaster's episodes.
The project begins with creating a persona, Colette in this case, and an issue they're having revolving around the feature idea you have for an app, Apple Podcasts. Then, we take that persona through a "Happy Path" and "Journey Map" of how we can resolve their issue, a search and filter option. Then begins the wire framing of the app using Figma. Finally, a star is born, a search and filter button when you're looking through a Podcaster's episodes!
